Go to secondary router s settings page and login with credentials.
One network cable two network connections.
Check the back or the bottom of your router for the address.
Using an ethernet cable for each of the two routers plug one end of each cable into the lan or similar port on the back of each router then plug each of the cables into your mac s ethernet ports.
Is it possible to have one cat5 4 twisted pairs cable and split it into two ethernet ports.
Now connect the rest of the ethernet devices with the switch by making use of ethernet cables.
You must first connect the ethernet adapter s to your mac if you don t have more than one ethernet port.
Now attach the other end of the cable to the unplink port on the switch.
Attach one end of the cable to the port available on pc or ethernet device.
Repeat steps 1 2 and 3 from above to access the network connections screen.
The address might either be a link or a series of numbers.
If prompted enter an admin password or confirm the action.
Connect one end of the ethernet cable into to the ethernet port of the primary router and the other end into the ethernet port of the secondary router.
I know ethernet only needs 4 wires so that would not be a problem but would the connections interfere with each other or work without issues.
The first network will be used for application software and the second for internet and e mail.
