Nissan Note Door Lock Noise

Seeing if anyone had this happen before and how if it can be fixed.

My unlock sounds completely normal but ever since it started getting cold my door lock sounds like a sound from the game operation. When i lock the door from the outside using the key fob it makes a mechanical whining crunchy noise inside the driver door.
