Nissan Note Door Lock Buzzing

We have owned a nissan note 1 4se 2007 for about 3 months and throughout this time when locking the doors remotely there is a very loud buzzing noise which comes from the drivers door doors do lock and unlock ok.

I can find nothing stated in the owners manual that this noise should occur. Have owned the car for 3 months and it has not changed at all in this time. Is this an intentional audible confirmation of locking or is it a potential problem. When remote locking the doors on our 2007 nissan note 1 4 se there is a loud buzzing rasping noise which seems to come from the drivers door.

Put your ear to the door and listen to where the grinding buzzing noise is coming from when you lock the door sometimes it maybe more than one door. Sounds like the power lock solenoid is busted esp if its only that one door.
